Red Foot Tortoises All of the red foots offered are from melanistic (black) adults.  Our breeder stock is an island dwarf form that obtains a plastronal length of 14-16 inches as adults.  The females usually lay 7-10 eggs.  They are raised outdoors under natural conditions for optimal growth and development.  None of our red foots develope scutal pyramiding.
